Inspired to work with my hands and create one-of-a-kind pieces, I started making things. First with fabric, then with wood. With equal parts excitement and fear, I learned how to use what I consider to be very intimidating tools to bring my ideas to life.
I like to describe my work as a balance of hard and soft, both in material and in design. With my love for vintage detailing and the notion of joining different materials and aesthetics, Dovetails and Darts is an art project that keeps evolving. All pieces are made using domestic hardwoods and sustainable materials. Each piece is handmade, one-at-a-time, with high aspirations and lots of ‘character’ in North Park, San Diego, Ca.

Art programs are a luxury now-a-days, especially in under privileged communities. In hopes of sharing this outlet with those less fortunate, a portion of proceeds of each sale go to support ARTS | A Reason to Survive.
ARTS is a San Diego based non-profit organization dedicated to providing, supporting, and advocating for arts programs that heal, inspire, and empower youth facing adversity. Their unique program creates a one-stop shop for kids to be exposed to and engage in arts at many levels depending on their circumstances, skill level, and interest.
